Gardening and outdoor work gives children the perfect opportunity to examine and learn about the environment we live in. Planting seeds, watching them grow and nurturing them until they are ready for harvest gives children first-hand experience of life cycles. They are directly responsible for bringing to life and nurturing young plants and will also witness what happens if they fail to properly look after their plants. All these experiences contribute to helping children learn that they need to look after themselves, others and the environment.

Gardening is hard and important work. Our child-sized garden tools are like adult tools in both design and function and should withstand years of garden maintenance and vegetable growing.
