This activity set follows on from the Basic Pouring Set. It contains everything needed to set up a number of different pouring activities. Children will learn to estimate how much water is needed to fill small glasses and to judge when to stop pouring so there are no spills. They will also get lots of practice pouring water from and into different bottles and decanters as well as learning when and how to use a funnel. All these skills will prove useful for later work in the kitchen or science classroom. Indirect learning outcomes include: development of independence, concentration, fine motor skills and co-ordination, a sense of order and self-control.
