This activity follows on from the Spoon Transferring Set (PLPTSTS). Children practice their pincer grip by operating small metal tongs to transfer items from one bowl to another. This set contains everything needed to prepare two different tong-transferring activities. Requires manual dexterity and accuracy and indirectly helps children to develop independence, concentration, fine motor skills and co-ordination, a sense of order and self-control. Set includes: small tray, 2 x small melamine bowls, 2 x small ceramic bowls, metal sugar tongs, mini steel tongs, small items to transfer.
